District Chitral is the second largest district in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, covering an area of 9047Km2. Part of the Malakand Division, it is the northernmost district of Pakistan. Chitral Upper has two tehsils : Mastuj Tehsil and Mulkhow/Torkhow tehsil. Located Extreme North-East of KPK, and shares boarder with GB to east, and boarder with to northwest, Shares border with District Swat & Dir of KPK to the South and Lower Chitral to the west. A narrow strip of Wakhan Corridor separate District Upper Chitral from Tajikistan to the north
