The commitment of the district administration to convey the fruits of reduction in the prices of petroleum products to the people. On the instructions of Mr. Muhammad Irfan uddin Deputy Commissioner, Upper Chitral, Shah Adnan Assistant Commissioner Mastuj visited various business places and reviewed the prices of food items. AC (HQ) visited butchers, general stores, bakery shops, bakers and poultry shops and asked for price lists of other food items including meat and reviewed the prices. Assistant Commissioner Mastuj directed the businessmen to display the official price list inside their shops and sell the food items according to these price lists. During the price checking, fines were imposed against many shopkeepers who were found guilty of high prices.
